The auction is over and I am happy to reveal the vinyl sleeve I created for the @secret7s exhibition in support of @warchilduk.
My sleeve was a response to the track ‘Lullaby’ by @siouxsieandthebanshees. Thank you to the person that bought this. There were over 30 bids, which is mad!
It’s been brilliant to be involved this year alongside so many talented contributors and to raise money in support of War Child’s work in conflict zones around the world.
Good fun at the Secret 7″ private view last night at Now Gallery and great to see my vinyl sleeve alongside all the brilliant contributions while trying to guess the tracks and artists.
Secret 7” takes 7 tracks from 7 musicians and presses each one 100 times onto 7” vinyl. They then invite creatives from around the world to contribute artwork for the vinyl sleeves. The visual artist and track inside are a mystery until the record is sold. All money raised will support War Child’s work in conflict zones around the world. To see all 700 sleeves and to place your bid, go to @peggy or peggy.com/secret7
