Holiday Road

One of the greatest things about living in Bangalore is the opportunity to visit so many culturally rich and visually diverse places. Recently my parents and brother came to visit and together we traveled parts of North and South India in three schedule packed weeks. We met first in Delhi, traveled on to Agra and Jaipur, then down to Kerala to visit Cochin, Peryier, Alleppey and Kovalum before heading back to Bangalore. Here are some of the highlights.

The Sacred and Profane is a series of photographs I have been working on that explore juxtapositions between religious artifacts, iconography, people and spaces within the wider context of their surroundings. Photographs in this series were taken in Bangalore, Varanasi, Delhi and Kovalam, India.
